Remember, it’s good to talk.

If you are worried about your own or a friend’s mental health, talk to any member of staff. As the old saying goes, a problem shared is a problem halved and often, talking alone can help.

However, at times when further help is needed, we can discuss routes of additional support and the other services available that might be able to help.

We also have a range of school-based support which is available to all scholars including the school nurse, counselling, and coaching based group work.

To find out more about what we can do to support you at Brook Mead Academy or to get some advice or support, please see Mrs Aylmer or your Assistant Head of Year. You can also look at our mental health display board (at the bottom of B block), email us at [email protected] or post us a postcard in our “need to talk” post box (situated next to the library returns box).
