In such a growing academy with so much going on we want to make sure you stay in contact with us and we can share all our news with you.
Brook Mead Academy uses electronic communications with parents and carers and we have found this to be much more reliable in getting information home quickly and easily. However, it is essential that you keep the academy up to date with your latest details, in particular a current mobile phone number so that you can receive text messages and an email address. If you don’t have an email address at home and would like help in setting one up we are more than happy to help. Just call the academy and ask to speak to Mrs Poynton.
Often the best way for you to contact us is via email: [email protected]
If there is ever a need to close the academy or to send students home early as the result of an emergency, we will contact you via MCAS. Parents are advised to be able to access these messages via text and that academy is updated with any changes in contact details.
We encourage all parents and carers to activate their MCAS and to download the MCAS app from the apple or android store.
If you’d like more information about MCAS, the main systems we use for home-academy communications, please contact the academy office.
